Brighton is one of, if not the most liberal city in the UK, this is one of things that makes it a favourite nightspot for many. The south coast city plays host to a wealth of nightspots, boasting multi-floor chain clubs alongside quaint, intimate pubs that offer something out of the ordinary. Brighton is the gathering place for a melting pot of different cultures which makes the city an interesting and exciting place to live.

The costal metropolis is well known for its thriving gay and lesbian scene, something not really seen anywhere else in the country and this is a big attraction for many, regardless of their orientation. This is similar to the way hire purchase cars draws in the crowds, regardless of whether or not there is a recession on. The multitude of gay clubs are essentially the main selling point for the city, at least at night.

Those looking for a ‘normal’ night out however are very well catered for, West Street which runs down to the sea from Brighton’s main train station features many chain bars such as Weatherspoons, Yates and Walkabout as well the hulking multi-roomed Oceana super-club. As well as such well-known venues West Street also hosts more stylish credible establishments like Pascha, be sure to lease purchase a new liver for the night if you are visiting here!

Elsewhere in the city in slightly less central locations are more serious clubs like Ocean Rooms! In the same vein, Digital on the sea front is haven for lovers of ‘real’ clubbing music like Drum n Bass and Dubstep. If you are brave enough to explore the laines, small winding pedestrian walk ways that thread through the middle of the city, you will discover all kinds of bars and pubs that offer something out of the ordinary. Similar to the way that the Toyota Yaris offers something a bit different to other superminis.
